Sal Butitta

Mr. Butitta is a Colorado Springs native who began teaching History at James Irwin High School in 2021. He received his bachelor’s degree in history from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He enjoys being a part of a team that does what is best for students and believes in the direct instruction philosophy of James Irwin Charter Schools. Mr. Butitta has two children who attend James Irwin schools. He enjoys cooking for his family, getting outside, and playing hockey.
