Marne Collins

Ms. Collins attended Lubbock Christian University and received her B.S.I.S in Education and Music in 1995.  She taught in Texas for a couple years before moving to Colorado Springs in 1997.  Marne taught choir at Holmes Middle School for 5 years and then was a stay-at-home mom for 8 years, raising her two sons.  She started teaching at James Irwin Charter Schools in the fall of 2012.  As the middle school and high school choir director, Marne feels very blessed to have many of the same students in her choir program from 6th grade all the way through 12th grade.  Marne is thankful for the beauty of Colorado and loves to go on hikes as often as possible.
