Michelle Washington

Michelle Washington was born and reared in Denver, CO and went on to graduate from Georgetown University in Washington, DC with a degree in English Literature. After working several years for human welfare services in New Jersey and Colorado, she finally answered her heart's calling to teach. She has always enjoyed learning and sharing and is so excited to live this dream of teaching within the James Irwin Charter School family. She joined JICMS in January 2023. She walks in passion and purpose, expecting greatness from herself and her students.
