Maria Ramos

Maria Ramos is the dedicated Talent Manager at James Irwin Charter Schools. An Air Force veteran and military spouse, Maria has proudly raised three incredible sons while navigating moves across the USA. After settling in Colorado Springs in 2012, she enrolled her sons at JIES-Astrozon and found a deep connection between her personal mission and the school's values.

Intrigued by the school community, Maria explored various roles, starting as a substitute teacher across elementary, middle, and high schools, eventually serving as an assistant teacher in 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades. Her extensive knowledge and experience with the students, staff, and community provide her with the insight needed to secure talent that fits perfectly with the school's ethos.

Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Public Administration and Policy from Grand Canyon University. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is passionate about traveling the world with her family, playing the piano, keeping fit through running, and raising a few chickens.
